Open Jira issues or ServiceNow records from CloudSignLab

Send chosen events to your own Jira Cloud project or ServiceNow table, and close tasks here when the issue is closed there.

In this section: Team, packages and account

An integration with Jira or ServiceNow opens an issue or record in your own system for each event you choose, for example Task created or Automatic check failing.

Until CloudSignLab switches this on, choosing Jira or ServiceNow shows This connection is not available yet.

Add the integration

  1. Open Integrations in the organization menu.
  2. Under Where, choose Jira or ServiceNow and give it a Name.
  3. Under Address (https), enter your own site: for Jira Cloud an address ending in .atlassian.net, for ServiceNow one ending in .service-now.com. Other addresses are refused.
  4. Enter the login:
  5. Tick the Events and click Add.

What is created

Each event opens one issue or record with a short text (what happened and in which organization) and a link to the item in CloudSignLab. No personal data and no content of your registers is sent.

Two-way for tasks

For Task created, CloudSignLab remembers the issue it opened. Once an hour it asks your system whether that issue is closed; if it is, the task here is closed too.

Security

The login is stored encrypted and used only to create issues and read whether they are closed. Use an account that may only create and read issues in this one project or table.
