EU AI Act, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689
Know which AI you use and how risky it is
The AI Act classes AI systems by risk. Prohibited practices and the duty of AI literacy apply since 2 February 2025, with further obligations following in stages. CloudSignLab keeps a register of the AI systems you use or offer, with their risk class and who oversees them.

What the AI Act asks of you
Know your AI systems
Providers and deployers need to know which AI systems they offer or use and which risk class each one falls into.
Risk classes
Prohibited practices, high-risk systems with strict requirements, systems with transparency duties, and minimal-risk systems.
AI literacy (Article 4)
Staff who work with AI systems need sufficient knowledge of AI and its risks.
Human oversight
High-risk systems are used with human oversight by people who have the competence and authority to step in.
How CloudSignLab helps
AI systems register
List the AI systems your organization uses or offers, with purpose, provider and whether personal data is involved.
Risk class and oversight
Record the AI Act risk class of each system and the person who oversees it.
Training and awareness
Assign trainings and keep the record of who completed them, for AI literacy and security awareness.
One place for all rules
The AI register sits next to your NIS2, ISO 27001 and GDPR work, with the same controls, evidence and audits.
Questions about the AI Act
We only use AI tools from other providers. Do we need a register?
As a deployer you still have duties, such as AI literacy of your staff and, for high-risk systems, human oversight. A register is the simplest way to know which systems you use and what applies.
