Track security training and awareness

Add security trainings, let people confirm completing them and see who still has to do them.

Updated September 29, 2026

In this section: Audits, training and reviews

NIS2 Article 21(2)(g) and ISO 27001 A.6.3 expect everyone to receive security training. Training in CloudSignLab lists the trainings people must complete and shows who has completed them. Trainings are numbered TR-1, TR-2 and so on.

How to add a training

  1. In your organization, open Training in the menu and click Add training.
  2. Enter the Title, What it covers and the Type: course, workshop, phishing exercise, reading or other.
  3. Add a Link to the course or document if there is one, and a Complete by date if needed.
  4. Tick Everyone must complete it for required trainings. Under Repeat, choose Once or every few months; a completion then counts until it is older than that.
  5. Set the Status to Active when people should see it, choose who is Responsible and click Save training.

How to complete a training (members)

  1. Open Training or your Tasks: active required trainings you have not completed are listed there.
  2. Open the training, use Open the training if it has a link, and do it.
  3. Click I completed this training. Your completion is recorded with the date.

Members only see active trainings.

How to follow progress (owners and admins)

Each training shows how many people completed it. Under Who completed it you see every member with their latest completion, marked Not completed or Expired, must repeat where needed. Use Record completion for people who did the training outside CloudSignLab (the date cannot be in the future), or Remove completion to correct a mistake.

Tips

  • Only current members count in the progress.
  • There are no reminder emails for trainings yet; open trainings are shown in each person's Tasks.
  • Use Draft while preparing a training and Archived when it is no longer used.
  • Training and awareness is included from the Supplier Ready package; your package may limit the number of trainings.
